In and getting ready for surgery....

Well that's not fair. How am I supposed to pay attention to the important information the OR nurse is giving me when he's really cute and hot af?

Surgery went well. Started around 7:30 this morning. After the surgery and the time to come to in the recovery room, I got brought up to my hospital room around noon. Apparently the nodule was cancer, but its own thing and totally unrelated to the melanoma I'm already in the process of taking care of. It being it's own thing is actually good. The entire thing was removed today, and that's the end of it and nothing else needs to be done for it. Now I'm sore inside my chest, and the pain is referring outward just under my left shoulder blade. Taking it easy, being brought pain meds, and I'm eagerly waiting for them to take me off the clear liquid diet.
