Continuing to recover from surgery, which I'm told went very well. Talked to the surgeon this morning and he said the kidney was so inflamed and swolen it looked like a football. I'm feeling a bit better in general not having that fighting with my bladder for room in my pelvis. And also without a disintegrating organ in my body. Incision still hurts, but pain meds are helping that. Going to try getting up and walking a little today. That should stretch some muscles and help the incision pain as well. Sounds like I'll be going home tomorrow if everything continues as it's been going.
