Surprisingly, they sent me home from the hospital already. I'm fine with that since my bed is much more comfortable than theirs and there's a retired nurse in the house. I'm in much less pain than I thought I would be. I have a line of sutures down the left side of my neck, a weird looking mass of yellow bandage sewn to the top of my head over the skin graft, and a big patch on my thigh where they took the graft from. Nice to be home where it's quieter, and I'm going to hang out in bed watching tv and maybe doing a little sewing while in the embrace of pain meds.
