Oh, hello again hospital.
I did a three week course of radiation treatments on the lumps on my neck. They ended two weeks ago. Over that two weeks or so, I've been having some very familiar symptoms, like milder versions of ones I had in the month or so before my first hospital stay this past winter. It would seem the radiation therapy kicked some dead cancer cells loose and they're floatng around my bloodstream driving my immune system crazy. Talked to my medical oncologist, and he said I should come to the ER for a CT scan and blood work so I didn't have to wait until next week tonget them done. My suspicions were correct. The reflux, the nausea, the extreme fatigue, the loss of breath just walking across a room, the nodding off randomly, and more. All familiar, and all happened before the first hospital visit, and just ramped up over a month or two. I am trying to hea that shit off this time. So I'm being admitted to soend the night on IV prednisone to see if we can get in front of this shit before it takes off.
